Most of you have already figured out that we fly by the seat of our pants around here.
And sometimes I forget to stop and come check in.
I think about it all the time, really, but sometimes I'd rather just take a hot shower or go to bed.
Selfish? huh?
Sorry if I got ya'll excited over all those posts in a row! :)
I guess you've also noticed that I've fallen behind on posting my photo projects. I do plan to bring them current. Lately, my computer is being a major source of pain in my booty. So some things that should take just a few minutes take wwwwaaaaayyyy too long. Hope to fix that soon.
Here's a quick recap of what we've been doing.
Running. Trying to find love for it again. I know its out there somewhere... I'm currently trying to complete a training program to run a 5k. Last night I completed week three of seven. Something must be happening because on my first run series last night I didn't feel the urge to stop when the timer told me I was allowed to walk for 90 seconds. And later, after I completed yesterday's series and still wasn't back home, I decided to run my cool down period of 5 minutes. Baby steps, but I'm seeing progress.
Tee Ball: Baby girl started. She has her first game on Saturday. This is one of the reasons things have been so hectic. We have thrown 2 practices into our already busy schedule... so it begins right? She's loving it. Mostly because she loves to run. She's playing at 2nd base. It's so cute seeing her out there. Let's hope she gets Daddy's ball playing skills because Mama playing ball is a J.O.K.E. :)
School: I received registration dates for Kindergarten in her school newsletter. I almost wanted to cry. I am anxious but excited that come August she'll be in school full time. I'm anxious because she's my baby and she's growing. I'm excited because I know she'll love it. Her teachers were telling me the other day that she will sail right into it with no problems, that she'll be a model student. She's a little over achiever it seems. I sure was proud to hear it.
Avery: She's growing so quickly. She's starting to act like a true two year old. Her favorite words are MINE and NO...... all because she is two. She still climbs on everything using the little chairs around here. She runs around the house in circles during dinner squealing and dancing. I guess she thinks we need nightly entertainment. She's much more mischievous that what I am used to with babygirl's toddler days. She's talking up a storm and is still a little shy in public. She doesn't like to be dirty and just now she brought me a perfectly matched outfit. She changes clothes multiple times a day. She's our little diva.
There's more to share, but I have to cut it short for now. Time to prepare for dance and ball practice. It's 2 p.m. and we'll be on the run all night. Did I mention I'm tired today? Maybe I need to stop for a coffee!
xoxo

About Me
- Kari
- I am a photographer focused on infant, child, family, maternity, couples and senior photography. I shoot on location, at the location of your choice, in natural light.
I have loved taking pictures for as long as I can remember - anyone who knows me can tell you that. There is just something about it that makes me smile. After the birth of my first daugther, Delaney, my passion for photography ignited. 33 months later came her baby sister, Avery. I have had my camera in my hand every day since. There isn't a moment I want to miss... the tiny toes, the drool, the smiles, the simple things. My girls are my inspiration for everything. You will often find me in the background snapping those natural moments in life that I don't want to see people forget. Sometimes the best photographs are the ones that are unposed and candid. I love the feeling of capturing such sweet moments and will strive to bring your memories to life in a way that you love.
