{wordless wednesday}

Wordless sums it up. She went peacefully Monday night surrounded by her family who loved her dearly. Please keep us all in your prayers, specifically my sweet Delaney. Children are so amazing and she has already shown so much strength being only 4, but I do worry about her in the days ahead. We will be traveling this weekend for services in Virginia. I will try to update soon.

  4. Something peaceful & warming about a grandmother, isn't there? There touch, their sweet tender voice... perfect memories to hold on to forever. My prayers are with each of you. May D get through, I'm sure she will.... hang in there and remember what is over our head is under God's feet! :)

  8. I am so sorry! My husband just lost his grandmother last month & I was so worried how Gabrielle would take the news. When we told her that Great-Grandma went to Heaven to be with Jesus, Gabrielle wanted to know if she was with the angels & God too. She was very accepting of the news, but she wanted to know why Great-Grandma died. We explained that her body was very old & that it stopped working.

    I made my blog private awhile back. I am so sorry that I didn't tell you! Please send me your e-mail address so you can access it. You can leave a comment on my blog with your e-mail or send it to lisafoerterAThotmailDOTcom.

  9. I am so sorry, Kari. I know D. is heartbroken, as I'm sure you all are, but just remember and keep reminding her, of all the sweet little memories you have shared. We are praying for y'all.

About Me

My photo
I am a photographer focused on infant, child, family, maternity, couples and senior photography. I shoot on location, at the location of your choice, in natural light.

I have loved taking pictures for as long as I can remember - anyone who knows me can tell you that. There is just something about it that makes me smile. After the birth of my first daugther, Delaney, my passion for photography ignited. 33 months later came her baby sister, Avery. I have had my camera in my hand every day since. There isn't a moment I want to miss... the tiny toes, the drool, the smiles, the simple things. My girls are my inspiration for everything. You will often find me in the background snapping those natural moments in life that I don't want to see people forget. Sometimes the best photographs are the ones that are unposed and candid. I love the feeling of capturing such sweet moments and will strive to bring your memories to life in a way that you love.
